While in high school, Ocean Dance Force provided a wonderful foundation in technique and performance thanks to Mr. Dan, Miss Sheryl and Miss Erin. Another valuable lesson learned while in the studio was endless hard work and determination to get what you want. Whether it was at the ballet barre with Miss Sheryl or stretching with Miss Erin, the constant attention and support from the teachers at ODF was essential in the early learning process of dance training. It was a wonderful training grounds in preparation for college and a professional career. They can't be thanked enough for the hard work they put in every day to their students!
Currently Andrew is playing Neleus at Wheelock Family Theatre in Boston, MA. Check out this video showing the transformation from every day face and hair to becoming a statue over the course of 25 minutes. He does this twice through out every show, because he has to remove the makeup to be a part of the Ensemble in other numbers as well as this character. Neleus is a statue that comes to life in the song "Jolly Holliday" after Bert brings the dreary park in London to life and color! He dances around with Bert, Mary, Michael and Jane through out the number.
Ocean Dance Force is SO PROUD of Andrew and his accomplishments! His dedication, determination and desire will surely take him to his wildest dreams and beyond!! Congrats on a great start to your Career Andrew!!
