1. When is your birthday?

December 6th- I'm a Saggitarius.

2. What is your favorite animal?

I think Koloa Bears are so cute! I would love to hold one at some point in my life.

 

3. Do you have a small or big family?

My family is small. Even my extended family is smallish!

 

4. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?

Hmmmm.. I love going to anywhere in the Carribean, however I would love to go to Italy!

 

5. What was your favorite school subject?

I really loved Physics in High School. I love that I can apply it in my classroom today!

 

6. What genres of music do you like best? Do you have a favorite song?

I love Pop, Electric and Classical music best. Kelly Clarkson is my favorite artist. I don't really have a favorite song- but I am enjoying Beyonce's Break My Soul currently.

 

7. How do you spend your free time?

Free time? HA! If I happen to have free time, I can usually be found spending it with my daughters, Paige and Emilie. Although, I really enjoy sitting in my backyard in our hammock with good music playing in the background.

 

8. Are you a morning or a night person?

I am a night person. However, I am trying to be more productive in the morning because thats when I have more time- but I do much better at night.

 

9. What is your favorite food or meal?

I love Salmon. I could eat it everday!

 

10. What's your favorite color?

I am a purple girl. Love it in the crease of my eyelid for eyeshadow.

 

11. What's a fun fact you know?

The building that ODF currently resides in was origonally a Bowling Alley!

 

12. What is your favorite movie or TV show?

I LOVE The Matrix series of movies and LOST as a tv show. I am also slightly obsessed with a HGTV program called Sarah's House (which isn't on anymore) I watch the reruns on Pluto TV all the time.

 

13. What is your favorite memory as a kid? Favorite childhood teacher?

Any memory with the Grandmother is a favorite. She used to read "The First of Octember" to me every night when I would stay with her on Cape Cod in the summers. She taped herself reading it to me and when I was missing her I would play it in my tape player at home. I wish I still had that tape. I miss hearing her voice!

My favorite teacher was (surprise!) my Ballet teacher Miss Fay. Her impact on my life was incredible.

 

14. Who is your celebrity crush? Or your favorite actor or actress?

I don't really have a celebrity crush- Maybe Prince Harry? I have been reading his memoir so maybe that's why I am picking him? No favoite actor/actress either.

 

15. Do you speak more than one language?

I speak spanglish. lol I wish I was more fluent in it so I could use it at home so my girls could keep some of their culture with them. But I try with what I do know!

 

16. What is your biggest pet peeve?

Wet towels left on the floor. (Moms will know what I mean!)

 

17. What is your favorite holiday?

Christmas. I am looney about it!

 

18. Where did you grow up? What country?

I was born in PA, spent some of my childhood in MA and then mostly grew up locally in Brielle!

 

19. What is a skill that you would like to learn?

I wish I had better natural ability at cooking. I can't put stuff together - I must have a recipie.

 

20. What is your favorite thing about teaching at ODF?

It's my second home. I love honoring the tradition of the studio and passing my passion on to my students! I love seeing them improve year after year too!
