  1. When is your birthday?

July 1st

  1. What is your favorite animal?

I honestly don't have a favorite animal, but I'm obsessed with leopard print so I guess if I had to pick something, it would be a leopard.

  1. Do you have a small or big family?

Well, my immediate family is smallish- just me, my mom and dad, and 2 sisters, but I have a pretty big (at least I think it is) extended family. My mom is one of five kids so I have like 10 cousins and some of those cousins have kids of their own now.

  1. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?

I'm German and Polish, so I definitely want to go there at some point in my life. Other than that, I just want to go somewhere where there's a beach and no one else around so I can just sit and read all day long. So I guess I'm really looking for my own private island somewhere.

  1. What was your favorite school subject?

English! Anything with books just makes me so happy.

  1. What genres of music do you like best? Do you have a favorite song?

I really do love all genres of music- my playlists are very eclectic- but my all time favorite genre is Classic Rock. Give me some AC/DC, Bob Seger, Pat Benatar any day. I don't really have a favorite song, but Queen is my all time favorite band (yes I have seen "Bohemian Rhapsody" many times and I always sob through the last 30 minutes of the movie), and there are a handful of songs that I can listen to over and over again and still feel all the feels every time as if it was the first time I heard them.

  1. How do you spend your free time?

I love to read and watch TV while I crochet. That's how I keep up to date on all the new shows and movies. I just press play on something and crochet away.

  1. Are you a morning or a night person?

I am a night person made a morning person by necessity (I am not a fan and do not recommend). I can usually stay up all night easily, but ask me to wake up and do things before 9 am, and I am not a happy camper.

  1. What is your favorite food or meal?

Oooo this is a tough one. I loooove food, but I have very specific tastes. Like, I'm not an adventurous eater; I don't really try new things often. I know what I like and I stick to it. High on my lists of faves are mac and cheese and baked ziti. And caramel. I love anything with caramel in it.

  1. What's your favorite color?

Leopard! It is a real color, and I will tap dance battle you if you say otherwise.

  1. What's a fun fact you know?

I love random fun facts! The more random the better. But now that you put me on the spot, I can't remember one. Oh wait I got one! Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia is the fear of long words. What evil genius came up with that one?

  1. What is your favorite movie or TV show?

Stormy Weather! Such a good movie filled with tap dance. Bonus that it also has what is considered the greatest dance sequence of all time performed by the Nicholas Brothers. Also Rocky Horror. Who doesn't love a cult classic?!

  1. What is your favorite memory as a kid? Favorite childhood teacher?

The first thing that comes to mind is when my grandma taught me how to crochet. It sparked a life-long love of crafting and creating, and I even started my own crochet business. In fact, I still have the little blanket-thing we worked on together, and I use the hook she taught me with all the time. So I guess you could say she is my favorite childhood teacher, too.

  1. Who is your celebrity crush? Or your favorite actor or actress?

There are a lot of actors and actresses who I enjoy watching, but I don't think I have a celebrity crush. Actually, scratch that. It's Tim Curry. Tim Curry is my celebrity crush. And Sam Rockwell. Tim Curry and Sam Rockwell. I also really like Meryl Streep, Nick Cage, Keanu Reeves, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Alan Cumming, Ron Perlman, and I'll stop the list there or we will be here all day.

  1. Do you speak more than one language?

I took Spanish all throughout school, but I don't remember a lot anymore. I can say "please," "thanks," "you're welcome," "cheers," and count to 8 in a few languages. It's always fun to say "5678" in another language in class. The kids get so confused.

  1. What is your biggest pet peeve?

Oof this is a tough one because there are a few things that annoy me beyond belief. I guess a big thing is when the volume on the tv is not a multiple of five. Don't ask, it just has to be a multiple of five. Also disorganization. It drives me crazy when things aren't in order. Luckily, I love organizational tasks.

  1. What is your favorite holiday?

Thanksgiving!!! Nothing beats a Thanksgiving spread and family time. And football (Go Giants!)

  1. Where did you grow up? What country?

I'm Jersey born and raised, baby!

  1. What is a skill that you would like to learn?

Not a skill so much as an experience, but I would love to have a booth at a craft fair one day and learn more about what goes into running a successful booth.

  1. What is your favorite thing about teaching at ODF?

I started dancing here when I was 13 and never left. It's home and that's my favorite thing about ODF. It's home and it will always be home.
